Summer Fun with Baby

Your baby will have a BLAST this summer!

An inexpensive way to have fun with your baby this summer, is to get a baby pool for her to splash in! Get some fun baby safe water toys for her to throw around. Get a baby pool that is only a few inches deep. Put an umbrella over the pool to guard her from the sun rays or put sunscreen on if she'll only be out in the sun for 30 minutes or less. Be safe and never leave your baby unattended around water! Don't forget the swim diaper, we don't want a big saggy diaper with that goop that comes out when they get too wet! Your baby will love this fun summer activity. Get in and play some games with her!

Summer screams going outside! Babies and children can't get enough of the outdoors. Take advantage of the warmer days with these fun baby play ideas;

  • Playground Ball - This is a must have for outdoor baby games. Babies love to play with a ball. You can sit with him and roll the ball back and forth to him in the yard or he can kick it around by himself. Either way, a playground ball is a perfect outdoor game for your baby!
  • Collector bucket - Older Babies love to pick up rocks and other outdoor collections. Walk around with your baby and show her how to put things in her collection bucket. Just make sure she doesn't try to put these things in her mouth. Describe the things your baby finds to her.
  • Wagon Strolling - Older babies and tots have a blast with the old red wagon. You can use it to stroll baby around the yard or park or he can use it to stroll around his toys or collections.
  • Swing - All Babies love to swing. You can purchase a baby safe swing from most department store from around $20. Your baby will enjoy being outdoors and entertained by swinging. If it's nap time, this is a sure way to get baby to sleep too!

Let Summer be a time for your baby to learn about his surroundings. Show him and teach him things that he sees outside. Remember to be safe and help your baby discover the world this summer!
